Who we are

iCopter (the “App”) is provided by Honk Honk Punch Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy describes information handled by the App and when you contact us about it. For privacy questions or requests, email support@honkhonkpunch.com.

Information stored on your device

The App stores settings, high scores, campaign progress, earned coins, unlocked helicopters, and saved-run information locally so you can continue playing. Device backups may include this information according to your Apple settings. We do not operate a cloud account or cloud-save service for your game progress.

When tilt controls are used, device-motion information is processed on your device to control the helicopter. It is not included in our analytics.

Gameplay analytics

Our first-party analytics system, HHPAnalytics, sends a limited set of events to our database hosted by Supabase. These include:

• App sessions; completed or failed runs; game mode, level, score, and coins earned.
• Campaign completion and whether a level was completed for the first time.
• Helicopters unlocked using earned coins, and coin-balance milestones. These are game events, not real-money purchases.
• Opening the More Apps screen and being shown Apple's rating prompt. We do not receive the rating you enter through this analytics event.
• A random persistent identifier, the app version, device model, operating-system version, language, and device country/region setting.

We use these records to understand returning players and player journeys, identify difficult levels, balance rewards, and improve the App. The random identifier lets us associate events over time. This is pseudonymous data, not completely anonymous data: we do not ask for your real-world identity, but records are linked to the same identifier.

The identifier is stored in Apple's Keychain and may survive deleting and reinstalling the App. It is not Apple's advertising identifier. We do not include your Game Center identity in our analytics events.

The country/region value comes from your device's locale settings. It is not GPS data and does not establish where you physically are. The App does not request access to your precise location.

Game Center and other online services

If you are signed in to Apple Game Center, the App can submit scores to its leaderboards. Apple processes your Game Center account information and scores; your player profile and scores may be visible to other players according to Apple's features and your settings. You can play without Game Center and manage it in your device settings. See Apple's privacy information.

When you open More Apps, the App downloads our app catalogue and artwork from online hosts, including DigitalOcean's content-delivery service. Selecting an app opens its Apple App Store listing. These requests and analytics connections expose normal network information, including your IP address, to the services processing them. Their infrastructure may keep operational or security logs.

We do not include third-party advertising networks or Firebase Crashlytics in the App. Apple's own App Store, diagnostics, and device services operate according to your Apple settings and Apple's policies.

Support and sharing

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use this information to respond and resolve your request. Please do not send passwords or other unnecessary sensitive information.

We use service providers to host analytics, deliver online content, and handle support communications. They process information needed to provide those services. Information may be processed outside your country. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights and the security of our services.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We do not use the analytics identifier to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Retention and security

We retain information for the purposes described above. Retention depends on its continuing usefulness for game improvement or support, and any applicable legal or security requirements. This policy does not promise deletion after a fixed number of days. You can contact us to request deletion of information associated with you.

Deleting the App does not itself delete analytics already sent to our servers, Game Center records, or an identifier that remains in the Keychain. Analytics is sent over HTTPS. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and rights

The current App does not have a dedicated analytics opt-out setting. Stopping use of the App stops it generating new gameplay events, but does not remove records already collected. Game Center participation is managed separately through Apple.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to make a request or raise a privacy concern. Because gameplay records use a random identifier rather than your name or email address, we may need additional information to locate the relevant records and verify your request. Please do not send identity documents unless we explain why they are needed. You may also have the right to complain to your local privacy regulator.

Children

The App does not ask players to enter their age, name, contact details, or photographs. The gameplay analytics described above is collected regardless of a player's age. If you are a parent or guardian with a concern about information relating to your child, please contact us so we can investigate and address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App or our practices change. We will update the date on this page and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.
