About these terms

Watermark Remover (the “App”) is provided by Honk Honk Punch Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These terms describe use of the App and its editing features. For help, email support@honkhonkpunch.com.

Your licence to the App is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement and applicable App Store usage rules. These terms supplement that agreement; they are not a replacement custom EULA. If there is a conflict about the software licence, the applicable Apple licence agreement prevails, subject always to mandatory law.

If you are not old enough to agree to these terms under the law where you live, a parent or guardian should review them and authorise your use of the App.

Your content and permitted use

You retain the rights you hold in the photos, videos, and images you import and the original contributions you make. Using the App does not transfer ownership of your media to us or give you rights in someone else's content. The App's software, artwork, and other materials supplied by us belong to us or our licensors, subject to applicable open-source licences.

Edit and share only content you own or are otherwise entitled to use. Do not use the App to infringe copyright, breach a licence, violate someone's privacy, or misrepresent ownership or authorship. Remove watermarks, attribution, or rights-management information only where you have the necessary permission or are otherwise legally entitled to do so.

Editing and results

The App provides effects to blend, blur, or cover selected areas of photos and videos, with controls for positioning and timing video edits. These effects alter the visible image; they do not recover the original detail hidden behind a watermark. Results depend on the source media, the effect, and your selections.

Keep original files and check exported results, including the full length of a video, before relying on or sharing them. Covering an area is not a guarantee that sensitive information has been removed from every frame, the audio, or file metadata. Exporting may change a file's encoding, dimensions, or quality.

Free app and our other apps

The current version is free and has no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or third-party advertising networks. It includes recommendations and links to our other apps. Following a recommendation is optional; those apps may charge separately and have their own terms and privacy policies. The App does not add our own watermark to your exported media.

Local processing, saving, and external services

Photo and video editing takes place on your device. We do not provide an account-based cloud backup of your media or editing sessions. Save results you want to keep and maintain your own backups; an unfinished editing session should not be treated as permanent storage.

Importing media stored in iCloud, synchronising your Photos library, and sharing through another service depend on your settings and the relevant provider. App recommendations and App Store listings also depend on network access and external service availability. Those services are subject to their providers' terms.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains on-device media handling, usage analytics, Apple diagnostics, and app recommendations. Agreeing to these terms does not replace any separate consent required by privacy law.

Updates and consumer rights

We may update the App to fix problems or change features. We aim to provide an app that works as described, but cannot promise that every file will be supported, every edit will be seamless, or every online service will always be available. Any warranty or liability provisions in the applicable licence agreement operate only to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any applicable guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. If an applicable consumer guarantee is not met, you may be entitled to a remedy. Contact us about a problem.

Changes and contact

We may revise these terms and will update the date above. We will provide notice and obtain any necessary agreement where required by law. Changes do not remove rights or remedies you already have under applicable law.
